Peppercorns




When ripe, pepper berries are red. 
Black peppercorns are dried, unripe berry used whole or freshly ground. 
White peppercorns are riper berries, de-husked and dry. They are hotter and less aromatic than black. 
Green peppercorns are the fresh, unripe berries.
